Hi-Pro continues to provide technical assistance to its customers through the services of its staff of animal nutritionists. Hi-Pro introduced the use of computerized feed formulations to its clients in the early 1970's. Using up-to-date technology has allowed our customers to maximize the performance of their livestock by combining the use of high-tech equipment and methods with the know-how that comes from years of practical experience in animal nutrition.
Hi-Pro Feeds is affiliated with Viterra, a Canadian based Agri-business. We have expanded over the past two decades into a complete-line feed company, which today serves more than 4,000 customers in seven Western States. Our feed manufacturing facility in Friona, Texas has been totally rebuilt, and today is one the largest state-of-the-art facilities in the region.
In addition to the high quality feeds and supplements produced at the Friona plant, Hi-Pro now offers a line of liquid suspension feeds through a venture with Westway Feed Products. Hi-Pro Dairy Feeds now serves the rapidly growing eastern New Mexico dairy market from a facility located near Dexter, New Mexico. Hi-Pro Feeds also expanded its market area through the acquisition of Gore Brothers Feeds. With the three locations in Texas: Friona, Lubbock, and Comanche; one location in Oklahoma: Cheyenne; and two locations in New Mexico: Clovis and Dexter; Hi-Pro has the ability to serve more producers with quality feed products.
