Chilliwack, British Columbia – Hi-Pro Feeds is pleased to announce the continued commitment to the UBC Dairy Education and Research Centre in Agassiz, BC. This includes a $12,000 donation to the UBC Dairy Centre Student Housing Project. Over the years, the animal nutrition company has been a key partner delivering high quality feed and services to the dairy herd at the facility.
“We are very pleased to support the housing project that will allow students and other researchers to stay on-site, and have easy access to their work,” says Jim Langelaan, Sales Manager at Hi-Pro Feeds in Chilliwack. “The UBC Dairy Centre is internationally recognized for the research and development of best practices in the industry.”
“The Hi-Pro donation will assist in the capital required for the project. When complete the 10,800 square-foot housing complex will allow 32 researchers to stay very close to their studies and projects,” says Nelson Dinn, Operations Manager, UBC Dairy Education & Research Centre. “The new building will strengthen the international learning experience by allowing collaboration amongst several dairy researchers sharing a common living place.”
