Beet pulp is the vegetable matter, which remains after sugar is extracted from sliced sugar beets. This vegetable matter is then dried to improve its handling characteristics. It is a bulk feed high in fiber and unique in that fiber is extremely digestible. Beet pulp is an easily chewed, energy roughage in a form that's considerably less dusty than hay.

Feeding Directions:

Dry feed: Mix with current feed.
Wet feed:
  1. Soak beet pulp in a large amount of water.
  2. Wait 15 minutes or until the beet pulp is fully expanded.
  3. Feed wet or squeeze out excessive water.
  4. Feed as is or mix with current feed.
